The LGBTI SG Position Paper for HLPF 2021
The HLPF Position Paper is a political commentary for the United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF), an annual platform where government representatives assess progress and reaffirm commitments to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
In 2021, as the world continued to navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the HLPF focused on how recovery efforts could advance economic, social, and environmental sustainability. Our commentary highlights the implications of these discussions for LGBTI communities worldwide, emphasizing the need for an inclusive and just recovery.
